Welcome to this week’s Sussex Exclusive newsletter, packed to the rafters with great Sussex stuff!
As the holidays take hold and the rain remains absent, I’ve been out and about again, sniffing out great Sussex things to do.
I started in Chichester where there is a fabulous choice of small, eclectic, and independent shops where you can source everything from eco chocolate to vintage finds, retro clothing, and handcrafted jewellery. Perfect if you’d rather not shop in the same old, same old stores.
I was also lucky enough to join the Secret Sussex Supper Club in a really stunning location for a Midsummer Feast. The supper club concept is a great idea and the food was fabulous … although you’ll have to stalk them on Instagram for details of their next event.
With all the hot weather, getting out for some exercise can be a challenge but last week I met up with the WALX Coast and Country team for some Nordic night walking … what a fabulous way to get active and see Sussex at night.
I know only too well the challenges of keeping the kids entertained during the holidays so I am thrilled that the Sussex Archaeological Society have come up with some fun but educational ideas to keep them busy.
Finally, this month our Sussex health expert is talking about how to treat the sometimes embarrassing but important Candida (AKA Thrush to you and me).
That’s it for now. Don’t forget, you can find the latest edition of our digital magazine here: Sussex Exclusive Magazine Please feel free to share and help support local businesses.
Have a great weekend.
