48 Hours In, venison burgers, frescoes & date ideas

At the time of writing, I am observing a wonderfully March moment. The daffodils are out and it’s trying to snow, and it really does feel like winter and spring are thrashing it out for supremacy.

In other news, I have developed a slight obsession with frescoes and Medieval wall paintings. They are dotted all over Sussex and so this week I am sharing some of my favourites. They are strangely compelling.

If you’re not smitten by frescoes, why not plan a mini break in the Horsham District of Sussex with our “48 Hours In” itinerary (it includes wine, sculpture, walks and lots more).

Or if you’re in the mood for a little romance, we’ve teamed up with Date Destination to bring you nine places for a date – with something for every budget!

And last, but certainly not least, Sarah, from Sussex Kitchen has a delicious and easy to make burger recipe for you which also may provide a part solution to some of our food sustainability issues.

That’s it for now. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Take care.
