We live and breathe Sussex and believe in supporting local. Our mission is to help you discover all that is interesting, unusual and exclusive in our beautiful county. We take a boots-on-the-ground approach and we are out and about in Sussex every week.
We do work with advertisers and commerical partners and we sometimes accept invitations to review businesses such as a hotel or restaurant. However, we will never write a positive review if somewhere doesn’t meet our standards and expectations.
The things we value are adventure, nature, sustainability, authenticity, all things local and transparency.
Exclusively Sussex
Sussex is a stunning county with a rich history and its own unique personality. From Camber in the east, the Witterings in the west and the vast South Downs and Weald in between, there are hundreds of little adventures to be had and delights to be sampled right here on our doorstep.
And our mission is to provide you with all the information and inspiration you need to do just that!
From vineyards you’ve never heard of, and gins brewed within a stone’s throw, to the best dog friendly walks and pubs. From quirky festivals, local dishes, ancient traditions and forgotten dialects, to innovative new chefs, talented artisans and beautiful country homes.
Our team is scouring the county to bring you fresh ideas and insights and to help you rediscover the very essence of Sussex and all the great people, places and produce it has to offer.

The team
We’re a small but perfectly formed team who share a love of adventure and life’s simple pleasures: the great outdoors, fine food and drink, local history and great craftsmanship. With connections across the county, we also have a nose for sniffing out both the best and the quirky and our experienced writing team like nothing better than sharing the discoveries they make while they’re exploring the county!
Above all else, we want to leave Sussex at the end of our time on this earth in better shape than we found it and Sussex Exclusive is part of that legacy.
