Christmas gifts, coastal walks, burning clocks & the biggest Christmas fan in Sussex

I will stop going on about the autumn colours soon … but not yet. This week is their swan song and they are giving it their all before the county slowly morphs from golds and oranges to brightly coloured Christmas lights. It’s a fabulous time to be out and about.

It’s been a pleasantly quiet week here at SE HQ as we gear up for Bubbles and Botanicals tomorrow but I did manage a very blustery walk along the seafront at Shoreham.

I’ve also been thinking about Sussex gifts … as the antidote to Black Friday, and I have some lovely ideas for you, along with a date for your diary in December for the Burning the Clocks procession in Brighton.

And what a pleasure to catch up with Geoff Stonebanks who apart from being a gardening wizard is about as mad about Christmas decorations as it is possible to be!

And finally, don’t forget, tomorrow is the Bubbles and Botanicals Fair – a coming together of 15 local wine and craft spirit producers and a chance to try, buy, and meet the producers. It’s a great afternoon and you can find the details and grab your tickets here: Bubbles and Botanicals

It’s set to be a cold day tomorrow so come and keep warm at South Lodge. Hope to see you there.
