Another bank holiday beckons in Sussex and with it, another chance to explore. So, here is a challenge for you. If you’re in West Sussex, why not get over to East Sussex this weekend, and vice versa. And if you’re not in Sussex at all, well why not choose one of the places featured below, and come and explore?
If you decide to go east, I thoroughly recommend Bayham Abbey. They are evocative ruins and there is lots more to do in the area. Or head down to the East Sussex coast and have something to eat overlooking the sea (and there is lots more to do in that area too).
If you’re heading west, well Petworth Park always delivers whether you’ve walked there before or not, and head into the town afterwards for a good mooch about.
Alternatively, why not pick one of our listed art trails and make that the focus point of a visit in either side of the county. Local art is a great way to get under the hood of a town.
That’s it for now, here is hoping the weather holds. Have a good one.
