Holy smoke, that was a hot week! I don’t know about you but by Tuesday night, I was all for sitting in a pond to cool off!
But the hot weather didn’t stop me getting out and about! As it’s the start of July (what?!), we have a new town of the month, namely Arundel, and I have thoroughly enjoyed a few visits there and some stellar walks. There is lots to love about Arundel.
Last week, I also walked the Cuckmere Pilgrim Path in East Sussex. It’s been on my list of ‘must-dos’ for a while and it surpassed all expectations. I did accidently add an additional 3 km hike up Windover Hill but what’s not to love about that?
Another ‘must-do’ on my list was a boat trip to Rampion Wind Farm (notwithstanding that I get pretty seasick) and so this week, I headed out to sea with Sussex Boat Trips. It was epic and I wasn’t sick. What a great way to explore the Sussex coast.
Finally, earlier this year, I visited Pashley Manor Gardens. It’s an absolute corker of a garden with lots of sculpture and things going on.
I’m reluctant to ask for cooler weather, but at the time of writing, it wouldn’t go amiss. Take care, keep cool and have a good one.
