A pilgrim trail, autumn gardens, things to do & foraged liqueur

Another week has flown by and another weekend beckons, a weekend of jam judging and ploughing matches for me!

With some crisp, sunny days this week, there has been a real sense of autumn in the air, and the emergence of the first autumn colours. That all makes it a good time to try the new Chichester Pilgrim Trail or to visit one of the last of this year’s NGS gardens.

It’s definitely also a good time to start filing up your diary with interesting things to do as the days cool off, and that includes the brand new Midhurst Jazz, Food & Blues Festival.

If you’ve noticed the abundance of fruit in our hedgerows this year, you may be tempted to make use of them, and Becci from Hygge Style has an easy damson liqueur recipe. Perfect for foraging and then for enjoying on those cold winter nights ahead.

That’s it for now. Have a great weekend.
