Greetings all. It’s been another rollercoaster of a week here at SE. I started the week with a chat with Sussex chef and winner of Masterchef 2018, Kenny Tutt. He’s taking part in the BBC Good Food Festival at Goodwood in August and he shared some tips and favourite Sussex ingredients. He’s such a nice man!
Then I headed to Felpham near Bognor to explore the area and stay in the amazing Beach Hut Suites at the Beachcroft Hotel. There is so much to love about this little stretch of Sussex coast and the huts are gorgeous. And nothing beats waking up to the sight and sounds of the waves breaking on the beach!
As it’s our town/village of the month, I also found a little time to revisit Henfield. It’s got some wonderful historic buildings, some amazing walks and a fabulous museum and I can’t wait to go back.
Finally, I indulged my weakness for all things local by catching up with the team behind Resident Artisan which is a new online hub featuring some of our superb local talent. It’s a great place if you’re looking for Sussex gift ideas.
