Full speed ahead to Christmas! The weather may be grim (wow, Storm Darragh was a menace) but there is so much going on in Sussex at the moment.
This week: we’ve got a review of Jack and The Beanstalk at the Capitol in Horsham, oh yes we have! We’ve also got a couple of cocktail recipes for you to get you into the swing of the festivities. And when it all gets too much, head up to Ditchling Beacon for fresh air, amazing views and some hearty walks!
I recently shared a number of posts on social media about Sussex trees. I clearly hit a nerve as I had so much feedback about them so I have rounded them all up into an article. I get the feeling this could run and run now as I hunt for more trees.
In other news, don’t forget this is your last chance to vote for your favourite Horsham District Christmas window display. Local business could really do with your support and this is free and easy to do. And I am resharing our Christmas gift ideas article just in case you’re still looking.
Finally, this is the last newsletter before Christmas because I think you’ll probably have better things to do this time next Friday. I feel a bit melancholy that I won’t be speaking to you over Christmas but I am wishing you all a very happy and enjoyable time and I will raise a glass to you and our good ship Sussex on Christmas morning (I might even raise two).
Happy Christmas, I’ll be back on the 27th!
