Autumn colours, Sussex fodder, a mini break & the Bloomsbury Trail

There have been days this week when you could be forgiven for thinking we have dived straight into November, but I am ever hopeful for some fairer weather soon. And of course, I’ve still been out and about exploring. Last week, I headed back over to Charleston in Firle to test drive a two day Bloomsbury Set Sussex Walking Trail ©. It is an absolute corker and I will also be sharing some highlights over on social media.

If you’re in the mood for adventure (and as Chichester is our town of the month – and yes, I know it’s a city), why not head down to the west of the county for 48 hours and a bit of culture and fresh air? For those planning ahead, don’t miss some of the best autumn colours in the county with our Loder Trail – this week we catch up with the head gardener at High Beeches – where it all began!

And finally, if you just want to hunker down for a bit, what about cooking yourself up something Sussex. It definitely feels like the right time for a Sussex Smokie and a Pond Pudding!

That’s it for now, have a good one.
