Bewl water, a bit of a mystery, Try January & Midhurst cafés

Well, January has certainly got underway with some crazy weather. Snow, floods, a few glimpses of sun and more snow seem to be the order of the day.

Undeterred and very much wrapped up in many, many layers, I have been out and about exploring. I headed over to Bewl Water (another playground from my youth) on what was possibly the bleakest and greyest days of all time. Notwithstanding that I couldn’t see beyond the end of my nose, it is a fabulous place for walking, cycling and being outdoors.

I also went on a mooch around Hangleton in Hove in search of a gravestone I wanted to see. What a great find and interesting story!

As Midhurst is our town of the month, I thought it was time to revisit some of the cafés there. I mean, if you’re exploring you always need coffee and cake!

Finally, whilst I am still abstaining from alcohol for January, for those of you who aren’t (or who are at breaking point), what about Try January? It’s got to be worth a go hasn’t it?

That’s it for now. Have a good one and keep warm.
