Weekend greetings, I hope you’ve had a good week. With the balmy weather we’re enjoying at the moment, Sussex is definitely looking golden and gorgeous. Perfect for getting outside and / or enjoying great food.
With this in mind, I’ve got some fabulous walks from across the county for you which should deliver up plenty of colour (and which include a pub finish). I’ve also got a round up of things to do in the Eastbourne area (as Eastbourne is our town of the month).
Bonfire season is already well underway, but there are lots of events still to come if you want to get out there and enjoy fireworks or torchlit processions.
And if all else fails, make you’re way to Zari Restaurant for a sizzling autumn meal that combines Sussex and India.
This weekend is a big one in the Sussex calendar with a massive reenactment of the Battle of Hastings (which took place on the 14th October) in Battle so if the TV series King and Conqueror (sadly not filmed in Sussex) has ignited an interest in all things Norman, see you there.
