Wow! We certainly enjoyed some feisty winter weather last weekend here in Sussex! That said, come Sunday morning, I braved the elements and headed to the coast to explore.
I must have looked pretty ridiculous as I cycled along because at one point the head wind was so strong I think I was actually cycling at a stand still. Nevertheless, I made it from Kemptown to Peacehaven and back and discovered all sorts of wonderful things along the way.
This month, I’ve also been collating a round up of Sussex sculpture trails and gardens because I couldn’t find an existing guide where they were all listed. This is something I’ll be adding to so do please check back in occasionally.
Meanwhile, Geoff Stonebanks has put together a selection of NGS gardens that are open this month, all of which are well worth a visit. These gardens seem to go from strength to strength.
Finally, as it’s English Wine Week, and for a bit of fun, I have put together a selection of Sussex wine facts for you.
Which reminds me, don’t forget to grab your tickets to this year’s Bubbles and Botanicals event. It’s on the 2nd November and you can book here: Bubbles and Botanicals
That’s it for now. Let’s hope for sunshine. Have a good one.
