Easter, tulips, quirky Worthing trees & an art itinerary

Just when we thought it was safe to go out … and were enjoying warm weather and spring blossom, winter came bouncing back this week with a vengeance, didn’t it? There was even a bit of snow on Wednesday. But the clocks are changing this weekend and the long Easter break is in our sights!

That all means there is everything to look forward to, including the riot of colour that will come with our three Sussex tulip festivals, opening soon. And of course, April and Easter are on the horizon with lots to do, from a day at the races to agricultural shows and Easter wreath making.

If you are looking for quirky or arty, why not head off and explore some of the landscapes painted by greats like Turner, Constable and Ravilious, or find out more about a very quirky Worthing tree?

And finally, if you are a dog owner, then Sharon Bolt’s article about the new dog laws is absolutely essential reading.

That’s it for now, I’m off to see whether it’s bluebells or snow outside. You’ve got to love a Sussex spring.
