Whatever the weather may have in store for us, meteorologically, summer is under starter’s orders and it’s a great time to be in Sussex.
A new month also means we have a new town of the month, namely Lewes, and it’s been great fun to explore in and around the town. I’ve been to Lewes many times but I always seem to find something new and it was buzzing on our visit last week.
Another area which I have often driven past but never really explored is the Pevensey Levels, so recently, I set aside some time to go walking there. The area has a unique atmosphere and feels very different, and I loved the church at Herstmonceux.
All good exploring should be backed up with good food and now is definitely the time for enjoying Sussex produce. With that in mind, I have a round up of Sussex PYO farms and five of the best Sussex places to enjoy fish and chips on the beach.
