Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

Festivals, retreats, walks & gardens

Welcome to this week’s Sussex smorgasbord.

What’s that? Another bank holiday weekend? And the weather forecast is looking great! Hurrah.

If you’re looking for things to do, look no further. For those who have been enjoying the Chelsea Flower Show, why not visit some of the gorgeous NGS gardens in Sussex for some more inspiration?

Chanctonbury Ring near Steyning is one of our county’s most notable landmarks. Personally, I think it’s gorgeous up there come rain or shine and so we’ve got three walks for you if you want to get up on the Downs and explore that part of the world.

It’s also festival season, so we’ve put together a list of what’s coming up. We’ll keep updating this so do check back in with it periodically. It’s wonderfully diverse.

And if you just want to get away from it all, what about a rural retreat in a gorgeous location not far from Henfield and Hurstpierpoint?

Finally, it’s also that time of the month when our health expert shares her advice and this month she takes a look at low blood sugar levels.

Whatever you’re doing over the weekend, I hope you have a good one. Don’t forget to follow us on social media and give us a wave if our paths cross!

Take care.
