And breathe! The hedgerows have transformed into clouds of white, the daffies are brightening up the verges, and with Easter just over the horizon, it’s a great time to be in Sussex.
With that in mind, I have a veritable selection box of Sussex goodies for you this week. Worthing is our Town of the Month, and it is also home to one of the most extraordinary churches in the county, which reopens for visitors at Easter. It’s really got the wow factor!
Also opening next month are a number of gorgeous NGS gardens, perfect for inspiration and reflection. And due to popular demand, I also have a round-up of short and / or accessible walks if you want to get out and enjoy Sussex but have limited mobility.
Along with the Town of the Month, I thought it would be fun to spotlight Sussex Produce of the Month, and what better place to start than with gin. We have some outstanding Sussex gins, made with local botanicals, and I would love to know your favourites.
