Giants, walks, and lots of great local food and produce

It’s been a funny old week of sunshine and showers. On Saturday, Shoreham looked veritably exotic in the sunshine but by Wednesday I was running from the rain in Heathfield.

As always, I’ve covered some ground in the last week, with a trip to East Ashling and Kingley Vale in West Sussex where I stayed in a great pub (serving great food) and I had a gallivant over to Brede in East Sussex where I finally caught up with some giants!

On top of which, as our town of the month, I’ve been checking out local produce in Heathfield, and recently did a bit of walking at Isfield.

At every step of the way, I’ve had reminders that Sussex really is an incredible (and very diverse and creative) county with so much on offer to explore.

Have a great weekend.
