Well, there is no denying that it’s been more like November than August at times this week, but somehow I managed to catch a few moments of sunshine as I went out and about exploring.
If you’re looking for things to do at the moment, you could do a lot worse than head over to Battle – our Sussex heartland where you’ll find history, architecture, and good food in abundance. And the sun shone while I explored!
For those based more centrally in Sussex, try Wakehust and Leonardslee this month. Both have Sussex sculpture trails which are very different but equally interesting and well worth a visit.
And while you’re out and about, look out for the latest Sussex winners of the Great Taste awards. There are some 90 winners in Sussex and they will have their Great Taste badge on display. And we’ve got the full list so you know who to look out for.
