Haunted walks, creative houses, things to do & a new you!

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a happy and restorative festive break. I have welcomed the new year in with the lurgy!

I don’t know about you, but I’m a fan of January. I love it for all the potential it carries for the year ahead and because it feels very different from the darkness of December.

But I know it can be a challenging month, so in this newsletter, we’ve put together a few things to help inspire the start of your year. There’s a list of things to do in January, and if you haven’t visited already, I would definitely add Charleston Farmhouse to your list of places to visit – especially if you’re creative.

Kingley Vale is one of Sussex’s iconic landmarks and even on a grey, January day, it’s fabulous and packed with points of interest as well as being suitable for short walks and longer ones.

And it wouldn’t be a new year without a bit of self-reflection and a desire to make 2024 a good one, so our New Year, New You feature has a host of ideas and practical suggestions for you to help start the year on the right foot.

Finally, some of you know, I have decided to run the Brighton Half Marathon in support of the Say Aphrasia charity.  Hold me to account, please. Shout at me, sponsor me, encourage me….whatever you can manage. As I sit here with a dose of flu, I know I am going to need all the help I can get.

That’s it for now.
