Well that was a marvelously short week and better still, the weather is set to be fine over the next few days.
I took full advantage of the long weekend and headed over to Pashley Manor in East Sussex for their tulip festival. It was fabulous as you can see from the photos and having now visited all three Sussex tulip festivals this year, I feel delightfully tuliped! And how happy was I to find Dante by Philip Jackson in the garden at Pashley Manor .
As Brighton and Hove is our town (city) of the month, I have also been out and about exploring some of the lesser known attractions. There is so much to see if you get off the main tourist trail and I could have spent a week exploring – I’ll just have to go back.
In other news, I have our usual monthly round up of things to do in May (yes, it’s nearly May already). Finally, for those who love nothing more than combining a good walk with a great pub, I have five fabulous pubs for you, along with a collection of walk ideas in the area.
That’s it for now. Have a great weekend.
