March madness, epic walks, history by train & the best Sunday lunch in Sussex

I have got good news folks. I have decided that this weekend is the best weekend of the whole year. Why? Well, because winter officially ends on 28 February (tomorrow), and that means we have the whole of spring and summer ahead! Huzzah! This also just happens to coincide with the publication of our spring magazine, so it’s a double whammy! Do check it out, it is jammed packed with lovely spring Sussex stuff.

To celebrate this great weekend, I’ve rounded up some of your recommendations for the Best Sunday Lunch in Sussex. I haven’t tried them all yet (it could take a while), but wow, there are some great suggestions. And as March is now upon us, I’ve got the usual recommendations for things to do next month.

The weather is getting better (I promise), so why not walk the Octagon Way, a fabulous West Sussex walk that I did last year with lashings of history and heritage thrown in. And, talking of history, as you know, I am now fully obsessed with 1066, so how about a 1066 trail by rail?

I hope there is something here to inspire you and fingers crossed for sunnier days and lighter evenings ahead. Have a good one.
