As this newsletter drifts gently into your inbox, I’ll be at Chichester Cathedral for the 950 Light Experience – a light and sound installation by the internationally acclaimed artistic collaboration Luxmuralis.
It got me thinking about the most definitive landmarks of Sussex, of which the cathedral has to be one. But I’d love to know your thoughts on this and what you think are the top three most iconic Sussex landmarks?
Talking of iconic, it’s nearly time for the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, which comes right through Sussex. So why not book a table for lunch on route, wrap up warm, and cheer on the participants?
As it’s also nearly Halloween, I’ve got a few ghost stories that I have collected on my travels, and if nothing else, they make a great talking point for a walk at the location of the different tales.
Meanwhile, if you fancy a mini break, stay local and head to Eastbourne, the sunshine capital of Sussex and a great place to visit. Failing which, cook up a mouth-watering pudding, curl up on the sofa and avoid the rain!
