Serpents, artists, wine, love & shopping

Brrrr, it’s been another chilly week here in Sussex. But don’t worry, I have a wonderfully eclectic line up for you in this week’s newsletter.

In East Sussex, why not visit the church at Berwick? It’s very atmospheric at this time of year and the Bloomsbury paintings have a real wow factor!

In West Sussex, Hurstpierpoint has a quirky and interesting selection of emporiums, boutiques, coffee shops, and more. Worth a good potter.

At the end of last year, I fell into conversation with some people on social media about the Serpent Trail. As a result, we agreed to walk it together in stages over the winter. We did the first stage at the end of November (and in fact, by the time you read this, we should have just completed stage 2). It’s fabulous terrain and countryside, well worth taking a little time to explore.

For all you romantics, I’ve got 21 Sussex Valentine ideas. And for all you non-romantics, there are a few things for you in there too!

And finally, I have wine! Or more accurately I have a discount on some Sussex wine for you courtesy of the folks at L & C wines!

That’s it for now.

Take care.

Lucy
