It rained again! Still not much, but it does feel like we are now easing slowly into cooler months. And hard as it is to believe, autumn is already knocking quietly on our Sussex door.
I have just had the pleasure of interviewing Kate Mosse about her new book, Autumn (more of that anon). The book is a delight, and it filled me with a real sense of optimism and excitement about the coming season. Let’s savour every crisp leaf and puddle.
If you’re exploring Crowborough (which I have been as part of our Town of the Month), you really must pay tribute to one of its famous residents, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. With this in mind, I have created a mini SACD trail for you.
As this weekend is the anniversary of the Battle of Winchelsea (currently one of my favourite places), why not head that way for a bit of exploring.
