Welcome to this week’s Sussex smorgasbord.
Another bank holiday weekend! How fabulous. What are your plans? If you haven’t made any yet, do check out our pick of Sussex Coronation events. There are some lovely ideas. And talking of the Coronation, congratulations to our contributor writer, Geoff Stonebanks, who has just been crowned a Coronation Champion no less!
In other news, have you been to the new vineyard bar and restaurant at Ridgeview in East Sussex yet? It’s sublime and a great place to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Not a million miles from Ridgeview is the pretty village of Rottingdean, and this week we’ve got details of a gorgeous walk along the Brighton Undercliff path, through Rottingdean, and back via the South Downs, with fabulous views and lots of interest along the way.
Over in West Sussex, why not head to Steyning? It’s so pretty and they’ve got lots going on including their forthcoming Art Trail.
If all that leaves you feeling a little exhausted, check out our Sussex health expert’s latest post about the symptoms and treatment of Glandular Fever … just to be on the safe side.
Whatever, you’re doing over the weekend, I hope you have a good one. If you follow us on Facebook, you’ll know that for reasons best known to myself, I’m going to run from Horsham to Hove this Saturday. Wish me luck as I’m really going to need it.
Take care.
