Welcome to the Sussex Exclusive newsletter and your gateway to the weekend.
It’s been good to see some blue sky this week, and I can’t believe it’s March already! Where is this year going?
March means Mother’s Day for many but I’m a big believer that if you haven’t got anyone to treat or anyone to treat you, then treat yourself! With that in mind, how about three fabulously indulgent ideas? Lunch, afternoon tea, wine, walking! I’m happy.
Sustainability is a subject on most of our minds these days, so I was delighted to sit next to Jeanette Mercer of the Kinder Living Home Show recently. Living more sustainably isn’t easy and the show is all about finding little ways to make change. It’s this weekend in Horsham.
I’ve also been out and about exploring East Grinstead this week. In my legal days, I spent a lot of time here and it’s been lovely to re-visit the Medieval High Street. So much history there!
Last but not least, I am delighted to introduce Paul Hitchcock, a talented local photographer, and historian, but also a keen cook, who is going to be showcasing Sussex produce for us with a series of recipes! I can’t wait.
