Happy Twixmas. I hope you are enjoying the festive break. We’re into that no man’s land period when you find yourself eating chocolate for breakfast and wondering what day it is.
If you’re lucky enough to have some time off, this week is perfect for exploring a new corner of Sussex. Or alternatively, for making plans for the year ahead.
With all that in mind, I have some ideas for Sussex things to do between Christmas and New Year but I also have some bigger ideas for some Sussex exploring that you might want to plan for 2025. I’ve also got details of the first half of the new Petworth Way walk (Haslemere to Arundel). It is fabulous, with stops at Lurgashall and Petworth.
That said, if all you want to do is lie on the sofa, I have got a few ripping yarns for you in the shape of some good old fashioned Sussex ghost stories.
