Waterfalls & hidden coves, chocolate and snowdrops, and a mini break itinerary

Brrrrr, it’s been a chilly week with not a lot of sunshine here in Sussex. But there is still plenty afoot to keep us happy.

Snowdrops are the first sign that we’re on the home straight to spring and there are lots of these brave souls about at the moment. And whilst you may or may not be celebrating Valentine’s (and with Easter on the horizon), chocolate is a wonderful way to indulge. And luckily, we have some superb chocolate makers here in Sussex.

If you’re planning a mini break (and even if you’re not), there is no need to travel any further than Sussex to spend 48 hours indulging in a few of life’s simple pleasures, so do check out our 48 Hours In itinerary. And finally, for a spot of adventure, why not visit Fairlight Glen and Cove in Hastings Country Park, with its dripping well and waterfall, and secluded beach?  It’s a stunningly beautiful corner of Sussex.

That’s it for now. Keep warm and have a great weekend. Oh, and happy Valentine’s.
