Prepare to be immersed in a vibrant celebration of nature and art as the Arts Charity SCIP transforms The Crypt Gallery into a captivating botanical arts festival, “The Garden Show,” this summer. Known for their bold and insightful exhibitions, SCIP returns with a three-week exploration celebrating all things floral.

Sussex Day at Parham House, Storrington
15 June
Showcasing local produce, crafts and art in the picturesque setting of the Pleasure Grounds at Parham House. Attendees can look forward to exploring a wide array of locally sourced goods and creative works while immersing themselves in the rich heritage of Parham.

By The Coast Festival, Bexhill
7 June
Held on the De La Warr Pavilion lawns, this festival includes Motown, Disco, Soul, Funk, worldwide DJs and live performances. There are also food stalls, bars and cocktails, singing, and dancing to all your favourite hits.

Balloons and Tunes, Fontwell Park
13 and 14 June
A dazzling, world-famous SkySafari® Night Glow and Saturday balloon launch (weather permitting). There will also be a giant funfair, tribute acts, food stalls, and animal shoes.
Sussex Craft Week
14 to 22 June
A new initiative, Sussex Craft Week encourages people to take part in crafting activities to boost mental and physical wellbeing and to celebrate local heritage. Choose from willow weaving, book binding or collage at the stylish coaching inn, The Bell in Ticehurst; medieval ironwork, jewellery, woodcut printing, glass engraving or natural dyeing at the renowned West Dean College; sculpting in a beautiful barn in Friston; stone carving at the famous Skelton workshops in Streat; or children’s clay and raku workshops in Eastbourne.

World War Two Living History Weekend, Newhaven Fort
21 and 22 June
The weekend invites visitors to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds and stories of the 1940s and will feature a unique collection of wartime artefacts, military vehicles, live demonstrations and reenactments.

Cheese and Chilli Festival, Chichester
21 and 22 June
The only Cheese and Chilli Festival in the county and its also packed with things to do like the cooking theatre and demonstrations, chilli eating competitions, wrestling and live music.

1812 & Prom firework concert, Eastbourne
Every Wednesday in June at the iconic seafront bandstand, this series of concerts ends triumphantly with traditional prom favourites and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture accompanied by a spectacular firework display. Booking required.

WINELANDS: A Celebration of English Wine Week in Lewes
This is a new festival of pop-up wine events taking place from 22–29 June 2025.
Designed to showcase the world-class quality of Sussex and Southeast England’s wines, Winelands will bring together wine lovers, local producers, and industry experts for a week-long celebration of the region’s finest wines. It will feature will feature a series of tastings, film screening, supper clubs, and vineyard tours, all highlighting the exceptional talent and craft making that is behind English wine.

Bloom & Grow at the Weald & Downland Living Museum
28 and 29 June
Celebrate the beauty of nature and nurture your senses within the stunning Museum landscape and historic gardens. Festival of Chichester
14 June to 20 July
This summer a huge range of events will come together under the Festival of Chichester banner, embracing another rich and varied five weeks of arts and community fun. The festival comprises over 130 independently organised events across many genres. This year the festival joins the Cathedral in celebrating Chichester950, sharing ‘TrinityFest on the Green’ (15 June) as the official festival launch. The inspiring Children’s Bookfest charity has curated a mini-series of events with children’s authors plus a fundraiser featuring media personality Rev Richard Coles.
