As I type, I am battening down the hatches in anticipation of Storm Ciaran. Normally, my little corner of Sussex is the first to lose power (and the last to get it back), and last winter a tree landed on my van. So, fingers crossed and I hope you are surviving safely.
Storms aside, I have been out and about this week. Shoreham is our latest town of the month and I always enjoy a visit there, even if it is raining. I also went out and about exploring Wolstonbury Hill. Wow! It’s fabulous up there and a great place for a short or a long walk.
If you want to take cover from the rain, there are few better places (in my opinion) than a bookshop, so check out our selection of some of the best Sussex has to offer.
As it’s November, the gloves are off when it comes to Christmas and I have a great Christmas liqueur recipe for you (thanks to Hygge Style) which you can either make to give as a gift or use for medicinal purposes yourself!
And, finally, I am delighted to share the latest edition of our Sussex Exclusive Magazine. It’s all free, and it’s packed with goodies with Christmas getaways, recipes, walks, an epic road trip, wines, and lots, lots more. Please take a look and feel free to share. Thank you.
Take care.
