Wreath making, autumn walks, chestnut feasts & a special treat

Wow, it almost feels like a seasonal frenzy at the moment in Sussex, there is so much going on. And on that note, thank you to all those who came along last week to the Bubbles and Botanicals Fair.

This week, I’ve got lots more delights for you. For late autumn colour and an easy walk, head to Buchan Country Park near Crawley. And for a special occasion, what about treating yourself to dinner at the Camellia Restaurant at South Lodge?

I know it’s only early November, but if you want to join a Christmas wreath making workshop, you may need to book, so I have few options for you. And if you want to get in the kitchen, I have a real treat as over the next few weeks, Sarah Thompson is sharing some fabulous festive recipes based around the humble (and sustainable) chestnut.

My last piece of big news for this week is the latest edition of our Sussex Exclusive Magazine. As always, it is packed with lovely Sussexness – you’ll find walks, things to do in winter, mini break itineraries, Christmas events, Sussex Christmas gift guides and artisan markets, dog friendly places, recipes and foodie recommendations, and lots, lots more!

That’s it for now. See you next week.
