Discover the flavours of India

Based on authentic recipes from different regions of India, everything at Zari is made by hand in their kitchens. Watch their international chefs at work in their kitchens through the glass walls of their display kitchen as they prepare and cook recipes that once graced the tables of the great Maharajas of Rajasthan, like their slow-cooked Dum Pukht Biryani (known as the “Foods of Royalty”).

Surrounded by rich silks, cushions and the vibrant colours of the vast sub-continent of India, this family business showcases the incredible culinary history of the Nawabs and of Lucknow, of palaces and princes and also simple family recipes from Bengal that date back many hundreds of years. Discover the flavours enjoyed by the Moghul emperors and the aristocracy of Hyderabad with their hints of coconut, tamarind and sesame or try Panjabi masalas, the coconut curries of the lush green states of southern India and the subtle yet fiery notes of Bengali cuisine.
