I hope you had a good Easter and managed to enjoy some of the sunshine and the beautiful bluebells that are carpeting our Sussex woods at the moment.
As I recover from too much chocolate (and wine), I’ve been out and about exploring. Flying along (if you can fly in a Fiat 500) near Hailsham, I spotted The Truggery and decided to stop. I am so glad I did as it was a rare chance to learn more about this great Sussex craft.
In a similar vein, I was also delighted when the Mythago Morris contacted me to tell me about their forthcoming Blossail event. Their music and rituals are really compelling.
Winnie the Pooh is headline news this year as it is 100 years since he first explored the forest. That feels like a good excuse to get back to Ashdown for a walk, and the Airman’s Grave loop is a corker.
And all that exploring definitely deserves a little treat, so I am delighted that Sarah from the Sussex Kitchen has shared her spring quiche recipe with the option for lots of Sussex ingredients.
Finally, over on the business pages, Laura Osman shares valuable insights on the art of giving feedback.
That’s it for now. Happy exploring.
