A quirky food trail, things to do, some great beaches & a walk near Billi!

Is that a large yellow orb I see in the sky at last? Thank goodness, this week I have waded through more water than I ever care to see again.

Nonetheless, I did manage some exploring. Despite all the rain, on a sunny day, many of our beaches are really fabulous and a great place for an early morning walk or a day out with the kids (or grandkids), so I have some of my favourites for you. On my travels, I have also been collecting quirky foodie ideas for the first of two Food Trails. And I was delighted to find a connection to the Onion Pie murder on route!

Back over in the west, I have a Billingshurst walk for you, and as we’re half way through the month, I also have a round up of some of the many events that are taking place in August. It’s a going to be a good one.

That’s it for now, take care.
