Meet watery creatures from the deep, as you discover the secrets of the natural world. Listen carefully to the rhythms of nature and experience Moon River, a display of over 13,000 lights, flowing across the landscape as the moon rises in the distance and the trees glow.

The trail takes you from a Polypodipus (a fantastical creature rising from the depths of the lake, with glowing fern-like tentacles) to a glowing forest of fungi where you can gather round the fire for a night council of mythical creatures and whispered wisdom.

This is a full sensory experience, which is as much about the soft sounds of the forest as it is about the light. Full of zen and calming magic, towards the end, you can gather around the Story Circle and listen to wild tales around the flickering fire, adorned with twinkling lights.

The Christmas tree stands at 37 metres high and is illuminated by over 1800 energy-saving bulbs. It’s the tallest living Christmas tree in the county and can be seen from Turners Hill and Cuckfield.
