It’s distinctly chilly out as I type, but that beats the torrential rain I got caught in yesterday! In winter, I look a bit like a Yeti at my desk, wrapped from head to foot in scarves, gloves, a hat, and three pairs of socks, but it is a great time to get out and about to enjoy Sussex.

If, like me, you’ve been watching the House of Guinness on TV, then you may be interested to find that Guinness had quite a foothold here in Sussex at one time as part of our county’s hop-growing history. And I’d love to hear from you if you remember the hop picking holidays.
Finally, yes, I am afraid it’s now full tilt to Christmas as the Christmas market season gets under starter’s orders. But what a great way to get into the spirit of the season and support local.
That’s it for now. I hope to see you out and about, and have a great weekend.
