Sussex cheese, Winnie the Pooh, a 10 km walk & a weekend away

Well, I hope you safely survived last weekend’s cold blast but wasn’t it wonderful to see blue sky and enjoy a few crisp mornings?

That aside, we have a big week ahead. Tomorrow is National Winnie the Pooh Day! What better excuse do you need to get out on Ashdown Forest. I’ve got lots of suggested Pooh hunts for you and why not finish up at Pooh Corner?

Barely will you have time to recover from that when on Monday, it’s National Cheese Lover’s Day. We have got some fabulous Sussex cheeses and if you’re not doing Dry January, perhaps wash them down with a Sussex wine.

If none of that appeals, I have a fabulous walk for you near Midhurst and a “48 hours in” itinerary for the Wealden District. It’s got windmills, forgotten gardens and hearty walks.

That’s it for now, have a great weekend.
