Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

Van Gogh, art trails, stunning walks and a Pitts-Stop

Wow, it’s June already. How did that happen?  Sussex is definitely looking very beautiful at the moment and there is so much going on in our wonderful county, it’s hard to keep up.

This week, we’re got a bit of a creative theme. First up, is the Van Gogh Alive experience which is on at the Brighton Dome and a good reason for a day trip to the seaside. Meanwhile, in Horsham, next week sees the start of the free Artists’ Trail – and there is some fantastic talent on display.

With the fine weather set to continue for a while, the South Downs are a great place to enjoy incredible views and fresh air, and this week, we’ve got a nice easy 4 km circular walk for you.

Finally, who doesn’t need coffee, cake, and brunch, and as I eat my way through the cafés of Sussex, this week’s Pitts-Stop was at the hopelessly pretty Garden Café in the North Laines of Brighton.

That’s it for now. As always, there’s lots more in our free magazine and on our social media.

Hope to see you out and about in Sussex.

Take care.
