How is it possibly the end of September already? The months are just flying by and we seem to be steaming down the track towards the end of the year at an alarming rate. But who doesn’t love this time of year?
I’ve been out and about this week as usual enjoying the autumn sunshine and revisiting Arundel Castle. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been before or never visited, it always has the ability to make you go, Wow!
I’ve also been eating again – no surprise there and I enjoyed a quick Pitts-Stop at Botanica at the Spa at South Lodge. It was fabulous but more Sussex wine on the menu, please.
If you love beer, make your way to Haywards Heath which is fast becoming a bit of a mecca for craft beer drinkers. And this weekend The Hop Sun celebrates Hoptoberfest!
If you’ve been following my South Downs Way adventures I’m up to Day 3 (gosh, I want to do it all again), and if you follow our Sussex health expert, this month she’s talking about kidney stones. Important stuff.
Last, but not least, it’s nearly bonfire and firework time, so I’ve got a round-up of events on in Sussex.
