Lobster pots, waterfalls, Alfriston and Easter

I am conscious that I keep promising that spring is in sight, and yet it keeps raining. But undeterred, I have been out and about again this week, dodging puddles, building an ark (well, I felt like I should), and exploring.

If you follow SE on social media, you’ll know I have been searching for waterfalls on Ashdown Forest. I know the forest quite well but I was amazed at what I found, although two of them are definitely off the beaten track. I also popped into Alfriston. It’s such a special place and this corner of Sussex has so much going on.

As Bognor is our town of the month, I also thought you might enjoy a trip to the Lobster Pot. It’s right on the seafront and perfect for those spring days. And talking of spring, Easter really is just around the corner, so how about planning some days out – with or without the family. I think we all deserve the odd treat after the winter.

That’s it for now,

Take care.
