Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

Sussex autumn colours, Christmas experiences, walks & Worthing!

We’re at that strange point in the year where we’re caught between autumn colours and Christmas cheer.  Personally, I love it.  Over the next couple of weeks, we’ve got the last and the best of the autumn colours, but we’ve also got all the excitement and feel-good factor of Christmas lights, festive planning and snuggling up somewhere cosy.

With all that in mind, this week I bring you a diverse bag of goodies. You still have time to visit Sheffield Park and the amazing autumn colours there. I chose a sunny day, arrived early and had the place pretty much to myself for the first hour. But you need to book. I also headed over to the Seven Sisters Country Park. I confess to being a little in love with this part of the world and whilst it may be light on autumn colour, it’s rich in history, folklore, wow factor, and great walks!

As you know, Worthing is our town of the month and each time I visit, I love it a bit more. This week I found a wonderfully eclectic place to eat (and shop, and drink) in bohemian Warwick Street.

And it’s definitely time to start planning some Christmas treats, so I’ve put together a list of some of the best Sussex Christmas experiences to help get you in the mood.

Finally, it’s only 10 days until our Bubbles and Botanicals sparkling wine and craft gin event, so if you haven’t got tickets yet, here’s the link. It’s going to be a lovely afternoon!
