Tulleys Farm has got a well earned reputation for going big and the Tulleys Christmas Lights Festival Experience is no exception. It’s the latest light trail to light up Sussex and is already becoming a “must visit” attraction.

You arrive to an Alpine village (welcomed by a couple of snow fairies – of course) complete with ski lodge bar, fire pits for roasting enormous marshmallows, live music and lots of festive cheer.

When you’re ready, head off on the Christmas light extravaganza! Thousands of lanterns light up the path to Love Lane, as you make your way round dozes of loving illuminations to a heart shaped archway of light.

In the enchanted forest you’ll meet fairies and mystical creatures hovering in the night above toadstools and little houses in amongst the Christmas trees and the magic roots of the woodland. Make a wish at the Lake of Wishes as the light dances across the water and visit the North Star for a light show.

You might want to meander down candy cane lane, dance the night away under the disco ball and watch the fire and ice show. But don’t forget to look up, not just for the snow, but for beams of light and twinkling tree tops.

The path twists and turns through the forest past sparkling Christmas trees, wooded groves and Alpine huts. It’s a mystery trail of magic with a surprise at every turn.

When you’re back at the Alpine village, a ride on the Ferris wheel is a must and a chance to see the forest and its light shows from above the canopy as well as the rest of the county with the lights of Gatwick in the distance against the skyline. This is Sussex at night like you’ve never seen it before.

Then settle down for some Après Ski and Christmas shopping at the many lodges of the village. There is a buzzing atmosphere as Christmas songs waft their way around the trees.
