Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

Exploring Hastings Country Park, a new Sussex gin, a sculpture exhibition & a Pitts-Stop

Welcome to this week’s newsletter and little slice of all that is Sussex.

How are you coping with the hot weather? My brain seems to be slowly dissolving into sludge (if it wasn’t already) but before it does, I hope this week’s newsletter offering helps keep you cool.

As part of my recent Hastings explorations, I had a good hike around the Country Park. If you’ve never been, it is stunning and well worth the time spent exploring it. And on the subject of walking, a couple of weeks ago, I also walked around Pagham Harbour and on the way home stopped at Runcton Farm – great for refreshments and stocking up on some local produce.

Meanwhile, last week, Lisa Brace visited Leonardslee Gardens to check out the new sculpture exhibition by the Surrey Sculpture Society. Lots of interesting and diverse pieces so if you missed their Standen House exhibition you might want to head over to Leonardslee.

Finally, what better way to keep cool than with a G&T? And I was excited to learn that we have a new Sussex gin on the block produced by the Goodwood estate.

That’s it for now, be cool and carry on and don’t forget, you’ll find the latest edition of our magazine here: https://magazine.sussexexclusi…

Have a great weekend.
