West Sussex Places to Stay: Alexander House & Spa

We’re all in need of something special at the moment.  A little luxury, some over-indulgence, and a chance to completely relax is certainly in order after 12 months of lockdown. And as our county re-opens following the easing of lockdown, we were delighted to hear news of Alexander House’s very own Roadmap to Relaxation.

Alexander House and Utopia Spa has a touch of the magical about it. Just outside Turners Hill in West Sussex, it’s a Jacobean manor with 120 acres of beautiful gardens and a number of lovingly renovated out-buildings. Everything about it from the moment you arrive is the epitome of English style and great service. Nothing is too much trouble, no detail is neglected and yet they still have a great sense of personality too.

Their Roadmap to Relaxation began on the 12th March with the re-opening of their gardens and a chance to enjoy “patisserie and pop” from their “regal” cafés as they invited us all to celebrate our inner Bridgerton by taking a turn around the grounds. From the 12th April, their flagship Utopia Spa re-opens with everything you can expect in terms of luxury and self-care. It includes Mediterranean-inspired pools, and treatments from Temple Spa and ila Organics.
