Wow! That was a hot one. Although as I type, the rain is starting to pitter-patter and my garden and its many weeds are breathing a huge sigh of relief.
As the following days are set to be a little cooler, it’s a good time to make plans. How about exploring the Heathland Sculpture Trail in West Sussex? You can’t walk the whole trail, but you can cherry-pick the sculptures you want to find, and, as the name suggests, most are positioned in glorious Sussex heathland. Or head east, because who doesn’t love a good ruin? And the ruins of St Helen’s Church, Hastings, are as good as any.
For foodies, as half term ends, you might want to enjoy coffee, lunch or dinner down by the sea, and if you’re still looking for things to do, try our What’s on in June feature.
And finally, this week’s big news is that the Sussex Exclusive Summer Magazine is now live. Completely free, it is packed with summer vibes. Think insider guides, summer experiences, a coastal wine trail, anti-spa wellness ideas, lots of foodie inspirations, walks, and lots, lots more. Please do check it out.
That’s it for now, have a good one.
