Welcome to this week’s Sussex Exclusive newsletter – filled with chocolate and curiosities.
Wow, we are hurtling down the home straight toward half term which is either a curse or a blessing depending on your viewpoint. Valentine’s Day is also just around the corner … and the same could be said about that. But whatever your stance, I hope that this week’s newsletter has something to tickle your fancy.
And let’s start with chocolate because it turns out that Sussex is home to a fabulously creative and talented collection of chocolatiers. A veritable selection box you might say. Take a look.
Sussex is also home to an amazing number of curiosities. So as part of this week’s wanderings, I visited some more Medieval frescoes, a haunted tunnel and I revisited the charcoalers near Rowhook and an ancient story about witches and bells! These latter being part of a great West Sussex walk near Horsham which is particularly gorgeous in spring.
And finally, as it’s our town of the month, I hopped back to Forest Row to see whether it had any secrets to share. The answer is that it does.
That’s it for now. Have a great weekend.
