Brrrrr, it’s a bit chilly but very beautiful in Sussex today! I hope you’re keeping warm.
As we creep ever closer to Christmas, our very own wine expert caught up with a number of local Sussex drink producers to find out what they’ll be drinking on Christmas Day and the result is some fantastic recommendations from sparkling wine to spiced toffee rum!
Carrying on the drinks theme, I headed over to Kinsbrook Vineyard this week to experience their new farm shop and eatery, and their five-wine flight! What a great place to warm up after a cold morning walk, and to discover more about their wines.
One of the many things I love about Sussex is the amazing people that live here, and this week has been no exception when talented gardener Geoff Stonebanks unveiled his phenomenal Christmas decorations…which have attracted attention from as far away as Germany!
And while we’re on the subject of amazing Sussex folk, a shout out to my friend who tolerated my explorations of Mount Caburn near Lewes this week, which resulted in us getting completely and utterly lost for a while. That notwithstanding, it’s definitely a walk you should put on your Boxing Day list!
