Discover, explore and savour the best of Sussex

The best Sussex ruins, a Sussex Pinotage, the Veteran Rally & a walk!

Welcome to your weekly Sussex Exclusive soundbite.

Time seems to be flying by, and I’m not sure how we’re already well into the last quarter of the year. That said, there is still so much going on in Sussex.

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck into and learning more about our Sussex wine harvest this year, and last week I headed over to Leonardslee for a fabulous day of grape picking, wine tasting, eating, and generally absorbing the Anglo-South African culture there. They will be at the Bubbles and Botanicals Fair on the 19th of November so be sure to book your tickets.

As it’s October, I also thought I might get your imaginations sparked with some of our ancient Sussex ruins. There is so much choice in Sussex, and who knows, perhaps it’ll conjure up a few ghosts!

Another great Sussex event (and a family favourite for me) is the London to Brighton Veteran car run in early November which nearly always find me on the side of the road with a hip flask and camera.

Finally, have you ever walked around Sullington Warren? It’s a bit of a hidden gem and a great place to relax if you just need to step off the hamster wheel of life for a moment.

That’s it for now. Have a great weekend.
