The Laundry gets its name from once having been the laundry for the famous Hungry Monk restaurant, the birthplace of banoffee pie which you can still enjoy in the local pub. Jevington itself dates back to Neolithic times and its flintstone cottages and Medieval church were once the haunt of notorious smugglers. These days, it’s a peaceful haven just off the beaten track but still within easy reach of the many local historic and cultural attractions.
